Violin Lessons

My conductor here at The Shepherd School of Music, maestro Larry Rachleff, stresses that as musicians, we must give back what we have learned through our endless hours of practice and study. We must be educators as well as performers.
This past year, I served as a violin teacher for non-music majors at Rice University. I have taught for five years, and love the inspiration I gather from my students who are eager to learn and improve. In my desire to expand my studio, I realized I should not limit myself to teaching only in the area I live. Starting now, I am giving violin lessons via Skype for a discounted rate. I believe that anyone should have access to a teacher if they have the willingness to learn!
I am looking forward to continuing my journey both as a performer and an educator. If you or someone you know might be interested in Skype lessons, please email me at andreacjarrett@gmail.com .
